About The Spayed Club

Each year many homeless pets are euthanized from shelters across the United States simply because there are not enough homes for them.  While the numbers of animals put to death in our shelters has come down considerably over the last few years, there is still a lot of work to do to insure that no unwanted litters are born.

The Spayed Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to solving dog and cat overpopulation in the Philadelphia area and beyond. Through education, a low-cost spay/neuter program and affordable primary care services, The Spayed Club works today to prevent tomorrow's unwanted litters from being born and to keep animals out of shelters. As of 2018, The Spayed Club has helped more than 110,000 animals.
